This website is undergoing a comprehensive overhaul.
To be more specific, I have wiped the old site clean, and have started over from scratch.
In the meanwhile you can scroll down to see a preview of what to expect when the site is finished.

Welcome to your very own Figure Drawing Studio, where artist Butch Krieger guides you through the fundamentals of
learning to draw and paint the human form using photographs taken of live art models posing as they would for an art class.
Innovative step-by-step exercises based on these images, from the popular Art Models series, will boost your skills and
prepare you to draw from life.  A companion disk features more than 1,500 high-resolution full-color photos to work with.

Live Model Books’ has released Art Models Book 10.  And within just a few days, it had 13 reader reviews with a rating of 4.8 of 5.  This is truly an amazing book.
I had the privilege of being one of six artists, who recommended the poses, which are included in Book 10.  The other artists were Pauline Adair (www.paulineadair.com), Steven Hughes (www.primaryhughes.com), Ricky Lewis (www.lewisartdesigns.com), Scott Barnes (www.artandwater.com) and Gillian Lee Smith (www.gillianleesmithartist.com).  Each of us thoroughly and meticulously explored LMB’s repertory of new poses, looking for the very most effective and appealing postures and attitudes.
The resultant collection of tasteful (totally non-pornographic) photos of nude models—both male and female—is so stunningly beautiful that it is worth its price just as an end-table book.  On the cover, you see two of my favorite models.  The female is the internationally acclaimed Russian/Korean model Saju (a. k. a., Saju90).
For this book, I wrote an article about doing composite figure drawing.  To read my analysis of the drawing that it did for that article, clique the following button.
